Project Background
Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE) is the sole electricity transmission system operator in Poland, responsible for ensuring the security and stability of the national power system.
The Impact Report presents PSE’s contribution to the country’s economic, environmental, and social development. Due to the complexity and highly specialized nature of the data, the key objective of the project was to create a modern, interactive report format that would enable easy understanding by diverse audiences – from industry experts to the general public.
Challenge
The project required translating complex expert content into an accessible and engaging digital experience while maintaining full factual accuracy.
Content accessibility: clear presentation of large volumes of specialised data and analysis.
Accessibility and multilingual support: a bilingual platform (Polish and English) aligned with WCAG-like accessibility requirements.
Dynamic project process: parallel development of the website and report content.

- UX design and information architecture: designing a clear structure guiding users through the report intuitively, regardless of their level of expertise.
- Advanced data visualisation: use of static and dynamic infographics alongside interactive charts enabling quick understanding of key report insights.
- Bilingual platform: full implementation of Polish and English content while maintaining communication consistency.

Analysis: stakeholder workshops, business and communication goals analysis, identification of user needs.
Solution design: information architecture, UX wireframes, visual design, data model, and technology concept.
Development: implementation based on Umbraco (frontend and backend), integration of interactive charts, functional testing.
Content and multimedia: report content implementation and editing, language proofreading, preparation of audiovisual materials (scriptwriting, recordings, editing).
Support and maintenance: content management and ongoing platform development.
