Adamed Pharma is a leading Polish pharmaceutical and biotechnology company with a tradition dating back to 1986. As a frontrunner in next-generation medicines, Adamed has a portfolio of over 500 products and operates in nearly 80 countries worldwide.

Seeking to share their extensive experience and knowledge of healthcare, the company entrusted us with creating a modern, user-friendly platform for up-to-date medical knowledge. The overarching goal was to build long-term, meaningful relationships with both healthcare professionals and patients.

Based on collected project requirements, we recommended Kentico as the technological solution. This enabled us to develop an innovative communication platform tailored to Adamed’s diverse target audiences. One of the main challenges was creating a professional online knowledge compendium that leveraged personalisation and marketing automation for healthcare professionals.

Solution

In response to the client’s requirements identified during the Discovery phase, we proposed a comprehensive solution covering business, technology, and functional aspects – including UX/UI and graphic design. We also developed a detailed implementation plan, divided into an MVP phase, subsequent stages, and future development. The result is a flexible and functional platform allowing rapid creation and expansion of the portal based on reusable modules.

The portal for doctors, like the one dedicated to pharmacists, hosts content in multiple formats – articles, audio, and video. Special modules were developed for selected target groups to enable personalised content delivery. Integration with the Supreme Medical Chamber and FarmaProm ensures that every doctor and pharmacist is verified at registration. The patient portal, launched in a later phase, is accessible without registration. The portfolio also includes a nurses’ portal, launched the following year, offering mixed access to content (some without logging in, some after registration).

Just six months after the launch, ** over 1,000 different materials – articles, videos and podcasts – have been published on the platform.

Further cooperation with the client includes the expansion of the medical, pharmaceutical and patient sections, as well as participation in the management of the content posted there and activities aimed at maintaining the continuity of the website's operation. Aditionally, we monitor, analyse and report on online performance indicators.

Launch of two key portals: doctors and pharmacists in June 2020, and patient knowledge base in September 2020
