Project background
Bayer is a global company operating in the healthcare and agricultural sectors, with a presence across dozens of markets worldwide. Through its Crop Science division, the company supports farmers by providing innovative solutions, specialist knowledge and tools that contribute to the development of modern and sustainable agriculture.
Since 2018, we have supported Bayer in developing digital solutions aimed at the agricultural community. One of the key elements of our collaboration was the creation and development of a central website enabling effective communication with users across multiple markets, the delivery of specialist content and support for marketing and sales activities.
The client entrusted us with the project due to our experience in delivering Sitecore-based solutions. As a result, our responsibility extended beyond the initial implementation to include the ongoing development, maintenance and optimisation of the solution in response to evolving business needs on a global scale.
Challenge
Over the course of our long-term collaboration, the platform became a key communication tool for users across multiple markets. This required us to develop its functionality while maintaining high system availability and continuously adapting the solution to changing technological, business and regulatory requirements, including compliance, consent management and user data regulations.
An additional challenge was upgrading the platform from Sitecore 8 to Sitecore 10 without disrupting business continuity, while also supporting global e-commerce initiatives.

The solution was designed and developed iteratively, based on the client’s business needs and insights gathered during Discovery workshops conducted throughout our long-term collaboration.
We created a scalable Sitecore-based platform that became a central communication tool for farmers across multiple markets. The solution supported content publishing and management, marketing activities and the delivery of further digital initiatives. As the client’s business needs evolved, the platform was gradually expanded with new functionalities, integrations and improvements, while maintaining high performance and readiness for further scaling.
At the same time, we supported Bayer in the areas of SEO, Consent Management Platform implementation and compliance, helping the organisation meet regulatory requirements while maintaining the effectiveness of its marketing activities.
The Infinity Group team also participated in other stages of Bayer’s digital transformation. As part of further Discovery activities, we prepared a comprehensive solution design for the global implementation of an e-commerce solution intended to support the client’s growth across international markets.
The entire collaboration was delivered through a continuous support model encompassing monitoring, optimisation and the ongoing functional development of the platform.

Solution design: Sitecore platform architecture, design of global solutions, preparation of a comprehensive e-commerce solution design, UX and content structure support.
Implementation: Sitecore website implementation, functional development, upgrade from Sitecore 8 to Sitecore 10, integrations, SEO optimisation, CMP implementation and adaptation to compliance requirements.
Support and maintenance: Ongoing platform maintenance, monitoring, fixes and functional development, as well as support for global initiatives.
