Location: Białystok, Poland
Project: E-commerce Implementation (nopCommerce), Support & Development
Scope of Collaboration: Pre-implementation Analysis, UX/UI, Development, Integrations, QA, Deployment, Documentation, Ongoing Development & Maintenance
Project background
Danlab offers a comprehensive range of laboratory equipment products, catering to diverse and sometimes highly specialised requirements, all characterised by high functionality and ease of use.
The company provides professional, end-to-end distribution of top-quality laboratory equipment and supplies – ranging from small accessories to large-scale products, including laboratory furniture and fume hoods.
Challenge
Until now, sales were primarily conducted via an extensive in-house sales team, with the digital channel serving only as a catalogue for product categories and directing traffic to manual order processing. As the company expanded, including a significant increase in its product range, there emerged a clear need to automate sales and service processes..

Let’s connectSolution
To meet Danlab’s needs, we developed an e-commerce system that automated key areas of the sales process, including:
- displaying product prices and stock availability,
- calculating costs of items in the basket, including delivery charges,
- selecting delivery methods and completing payment processes,
- tracking order status.
For the customer service team, the implemented store ensured automatic transmission of orders to the client’s ERP system, including:
- products and their quantities,
- prices,
- payment method (allowing verification of payment completion) and delivery details,
- automatic retrieval of sales documents from the ERP system.
To achieve this, we implemented and configured over 12 core functional areas of the nopCommerce system and conducted integrations with the client’s ERP, including data synchronisation with CDN Optima.
Simultaneously, we supported the project in traffic acquisition through SEO and paid campaigns – an indispensable component of such implementations, crucial for achieving the desired sales outcomes.
