Project: native mobile app – hybrid solution
Scope of cooperation: business analysis, product design, integrations and implementation, maintenance and support
Project background
Multikino, one of the largest cinema chains in Poland and part of the international VUE International group, has long been focused on enhancing customer service and the overall cinema experience. As digital channels gained strategic importance, the company decided to update its mobile app – a key platform for communication, sales, and customer engagement.
To support this transformation, Multikino chose us as its technology partner, responsible for the entire process: from analysis and design, through development and integration, to long-term maintenance and growth of the application.
The goal was to create an app that would seamlessly connect offline and online touchpoints, providing a modern and intuitive experience for cinema-goers. Key priorities included:

Let’s connectSolution
We designed and developed the Multikino mobile app as a modern hybrid solution that bridges the online and offline experience, drives sales, increases user engagement, and ensures seamless customer journeys across touchpoints.

1. Seamless omnichannel integration
- Integration with Multikino.pl: offline access to purchased tickets, personalised push notifications, synchronised showtimes.
- Offline-ready ticketing: purchase tickets without queues and present them without internet access.
- Digital wallets and loyalty features: support for Masterpass, Google Wallet, and PayU enables fast, secure payments and access to benefits.
2. Sales and loyalty uplift
- Intuitive navigation with showtimes featured directly on the home screen.
- Easy access to snack offers and the ability to add snacks to the ticket purchase.
- Built-in support for loyalty cards and coupons – all in one place.
3. Consistent and engaging content
- Visual design aligned with Multikino’s brand identity, with contextual partner branding (e.g. Mastercard).
- Partner content displayed natively and non-intrusively, without disruptive CTAs.
4. Unified web and mobile analytics
- Advanced setup of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Firebase.
- Implementation of the App + Web model to fully integrate data from both the app and website.
- Custom events and metrics in GA (e.g. age, preferences, survey responses) to support marketing initiatives.
Results
The new mobile app significantly improved Multikino’s digital performance – boosting online sales, enhancing customer service, and building stronger engagement with cinema-goers.
The project became a major milestone in our partnership with VUE International and laid the foundation for future initiatives – including the Sitecore-based cinema platform and infrastructure management across European markets.
